Aurora Bad Credit Loan Example
Jim and his wife from Aurora, recently
got divorced and now he is trying to recover his life both from a personal
perspective as well as from a financial one.
The divorce left them both emotionally
drained and it also drained their finances. Neither of them ended up where
they thought they would.
The only one that made money out of the
divorce were the lawyers. If Jim could do it over again he would try for
a settlement with mediators and avoid the lawyers altogether.
Although he really does not care that much, his ex-wife ended up with
a bad credit rating. Because all of the accounts were tied to both names,
his credit rating suffered as well and so he also has a bad credit rating.
Never the less he would like to borrow
$5500 and pay it back over a period of four years. He plans to use the
money to repay some of his debts and also help furnish a small apartment
that he has rented. It is not much but that is all he feels he can afford
right now.
He wants to focus on saving some money so that he is not at risk each
month when it comes to paying his rent and other bills that he has.
He knows that he will need to be extremely
frugal for the next few years in order to get back to where he was financially.
He is lucky to be fully employed and making descent money which will pay
for a great deal of things that he is going to need. His wife pretty much
walked away with everything.
A $5500 loan with a 4 year term
9.75% interest rate for Jim would cost him the following per month:
Loan Amount (principal) = $5500
Interest Rate = 9.75%
Term Length =4 year
Monthly Payment = $138.83
Total Paid Back = $6664.07
Total Interest = $1164.07
Jim could be a really bitter person. Instead he is focused on the future
he wants to rebuild for himself and he is developing a plan to get there.
The first step is to repay all of his high interest debt with a low interest
loan and then pay that off as well.
Fortunately, he has the income to support it and some lenders may look
beyond his credit score due to the circumstances.
Prior to his divorce both he and his ex-wife and good credit scores and
it was only in the last year that he had a number of reports which caused
it to decline. He still works for the same company and he actually makes
more now than he did prior to the divorce.|
Jim will need to provide documentation showing his income level, a pay
stub or a letter from his employer should do. Since he is also recently
divorced, he will probably be asked to provide a copy of the order from
the judge regarding the division of assets and any alimony he may be required
to pay.
He did not mention this in his application.
If he is paying alimony, the amount will be factored into the loan decision
regarding how much he can be approved for. One he provides this info;
the lenders can make a decision.
If you're living in Aurora Illinois like
Jim, and need a loan regardless of your credit rating, we may be able
to help you find a willing lender.
Sincerely,
Andy Somerset
